Your favorite AM and/or FM Radio station that many of you remember from your youth may be going the way of outdoor movies and record players if what industry experts think might come true.

Additionally, there has been renewed interest in elimination the AM Radio band and increasing the FM spectrum, thus offering more frequencies then before.

In 2015 the FCC considered several options available to broadcasters to help revitalize radio, none of which appear to have made much of an impact on the medium.

Radio in general is also facing tough times whether they are AM, FM or both due to the growth of the internet and internet music services popping up.
